Fimo Earrings
Juli and I have a tradition of doing 'craft day' while watching bad tv, and this time around decided to make something a little more practical then popsicle stick birdhouses (though I have to say, that was way too much fun).

Nude woman in charcoal
Three hour pose and I only had a small sketchbook and a willow stick, so I walked around and did different sketches from different angles. I tend to avoid charcoal because of the dust and my tiny white carpeted apartment, but I'd like to get some coloured paper with two different coloured chalks and play around with shadows.

Watercolours of vegetables
Playing around with monotype printing and then adjusting the image after. The first print I used cold press paper, that has a very prominent texture, and after years of photoshop use looks like a cheap filter and I hated it. This is the 'ghost' print with some touch-ups, left unfinished because the radishes started composting on the table and I couldn't deal with the smell anymore. Next time, fresher radishes.

Watercolours: King Vulture and Sweet Peas
A King Vulture:
Some Sweet Peas
The quality from my camera is alright, but that is supposed to be a purple flower, not blue. There is a scanner here, but someone is currently sleeping in that room and these two paintings are being gifted tomorrow, so this is what you get.
Over the next few months I want to paint at least 50 postcard sized watercolours, after I redo a certain goldfish painting for someone.

Fruit!
Not finished, but some vector fruit. I'm trying to use very simple shapes and develop a cut-paper style. The peach half has been excluded because apparently it looked like a rather personal shot of a woman giving birth.
Eventually they'll have some gradients and shading.
The half peeled banana is killing me. (Also excluded)
